Marching Band Uniforms:
Marching band uniforms (jacket, bibs and hat) are owned by the music department. Students will be fitted for a uniform once a year, typically in the summer or beginning of the school year. We will need volunteers to help with fitting and ironing at the beginning of the season, and then washing at the end of the season.
Students will order a show shirt, shoes and gloves through Mr. Thurmond. Students will order a new show shirt each year since the theme changes every year. Shoes and gloves only have to be ordered once, or as needed for size and/ or wear.
Students will change into and out of their uniform at each performance site. Students are responsible for bringing their instrument, shoes, shirt, socks and gloves to each performance. Many students opt to leave their gloves in their hat box or uniform bag.
Concert attire:
Students will be fitted for concert dresses or tuxedos at school. Dresses are purchased and owned by the student. Tuxedos are rented from the school. Students are responsible for their own socks and shoes.
