Awards
There are a number of awards and music letters available to Music Department students each year. Make sure your students knows how to start earning these awards and letters early in the year. Eligible students are responsible for completing the paperwork in order to receive these awards. Students that are receiving awards should plan to attend the awards program in May. These awards are provided by the LSWMP.
Patches
The LSWMP sells letter jacket patches every year, usually in March. All music students are eligible to order patches. The patches may be used in shadow boxes or a number of other applications beyond a letter jacket. There are a variety of patches available for the different ensembles and music events. You may purchase new patches each year, or add to existing patches by purchasing rockers that designate an additional year of participation. Examples can be seen here.
