- Marching Band: All band students participate in Marching Band. Some practices and camps will be held over the summer. We need lots of volunteers to make marching band happen! We will end the season with an awards “banquet.” All members of the band and their families should plan to attend.
- Performances include but are not limited to:
- All home football games, regular and post-season. The band might also travel to some of the away post-season games. Spectators will have to pay to get into these games.
- Homecoming parade at LSW
- Area competitions such as Lee’s Summit North, Blue Springs South, and usually a 3rd one out of town. Spectators have to pay to attend.
- Performances include but are not limited to:
- Concert Band: First level of concert band.
- Symphonic Band: Second level of concert band.
- Wind Ensemble: Third level of concert band.
- Percussion Ensemble
- Pep Band for home basketball games
- Jazz Band by audition only. Starts after marching season ends.
- Pit Orchestra by audition only. Musicals are usually held once in November and once in March.
