LSW Music Parents is sponsoring a trash bag fundraiser that starts TOMORROW! If you have a student who is considering going on the trip to Washington DC next school year we offer these fundraisers to help you! Trash bags sell for $11 per roll and $4.20 per roll goes directly into their student accounts. Sell 25 rolls, earn more than $100 for your account These funds can be applied toward trip payments or music fees due next fall if your student decides not to go on the trip. While exact costs for the trip have yet to be determined, estimates have been in the $1300-$1800 range and payments may start as early as March or April 2020.
Fundraiser Kick-off: Tuesday, January 21
Order forms due NO LATER THAN: Monday, February 3 (you might plan to turn them in Jan 30 or 31st because none of us will be thinking about anything but football February 2nd or 3rd!)
Pick-up Items: Tuesday, February 11th from 2:30 – 5:30 in Commons
5 sizes of trash bags available, each roll $11.00. New this year – 13 gallon drawstring
I will be looking for volunteers to help sort trash bag orders on February 11th. We will only have an hour to sort all the orders so it will require some manpower.
If your student chooses to participate they will need to pick-up an order form in class this week. They are NOT passed out to all students since this is optional to benefit them. All money must be turned in with order form – order form must have student name, teacher name AND phone number complete. Order form and money should be turned in in a sealed envelope with “Trash Bag Fundaiser” and student name on the front.
